Buying a print
You can buy prints directly from this website; it’s nice and easy and should only take a minute or two. Just choose whether you want your print framed or unframed, what size and frame colour you want (if relevant) and follow the simple instructions.
Paying
Payment is made through PayPal where you can pay by debit or credit card or through your Paypal account. Just add your print or prints to the shopping basket, select “check out” and then you can complete your purchase. You can also go to the checkout via the ‘shopping basket’ link in the main menu, or access it here.
Custom Prints
If you would like to buy a print in a different size or frame type to what’s offered on the site, just get in contact and I’ll see if I can help.
More info
There’s loads more information about prints and frames on the ‘Buying a print page‘. (Link opens in a new tab.)
Free Delivery
I’m happy to offer free delivery to anywhere in the UK. I can also deliver anywhere in the world but there’ll be an extra charge for this, so please get in contact if you wish to buy a print from outside the UK.
Delivery Method
Prints to be delivered within the UK are sent via courier or first-class post and are fully-insured whilst in transit. You’ll need to sign for them, so if you can’t be there, please leave alternate delivery instructions on PayPal at the time of purchase or contact me, or you can pick them up from your local Royal Mail delivery depot.
Delivery Time
Because all prints are hand-built to your personal requirements they can take up to five weeks to be made and sent out. I’ll always aim to get them to you as quickly as possible, usually within three weeks – but please allow for up to five weeks.
Returns
I personally inspect every finished print before sending it out so I can guarantee the highest possible quality in terms of printing and framing.
Because every print is individually hand-made to order, I’m afraid I cannot offer any returns.
Printing and framing
Each photo is printed on 190gsm 12 colour digital photographic gloss paper, before being dry mounted, framed, glazed with float glass and sealed. This protects against condensation and other atmospheric conditions which can affect the quality over time.
Size
The size given (e.g. 36 x 12”) is in inches and refers to the size of the photograph itself. Depending on the size of your print, mounts are an additional 2-5 inches all around, and frames between an inch and 5 inches.
Presentation
I personally inspect each and every print before sending out, to make sure they meet the very best standards.
I also sign and number using fine pencil on the mount. If you’d prefer yours not to be signed and numbered, you can select this at the time of purchase.
Custom Sizes
I’m happy to offer prints at custom sizes of up to 50”. If you would to arrange an alternative size, just get in touch.
For every framed print sold, I donate 5% of the price paid to the Dorset Blind Association, a charitable organisation which provides help and support for visually-impaired people in Dorset.
This is a small contribution from me to the area in which I live and base most of my photography, to help (in a small way) support people who may not be able to enjoy the sights for themselves.
