Well it took me long enough…but 18 months and two and a half web designers later, here it is, my new website!
Welcome to the new site. Finally! This has been a real labour of love and is a very happy moment as I present my photography professionally online for the first time. (If you saw my old site you’ll know what I mean.)
Here’s what you can do on the site:
- View all my photography;
- Buy my photography directly from the site, either as a standard print, or hand-built in the frame and size of your choice;
- Arrange a one-to-one photographic workshop to help improve your own landscape photography;
- Keep in touch – find out what I’ve been up to, see my latest work, get in touch and let me know if there’s anything you’d love to see or know more about. Within reason of course.
As well as the site, I’ve also launched three new social media channels where you can find out more about my latest work and adventures, and where we can connect:
This should all make it much easier for people to stay in touch, see my work, and also buy prints online.
You can also keep up to date by joining my email list using the form on the right hand side of this page (just scroll up a bit). I have no idea what I’m going to send yet, but I promise that I’ll make it good! Specifically, I’ll only send the occasional email when I really have something to say that I think you’ll find relevant and interesting.
So if you like my photography and you’re interested in seeing what’s new, sign up.
Also, if there’s anything you’d be particularly interested in, let me know.
The website was designed by myself and built by the very talented front-end developer and web designer Matt Northam, who’s not only excellent at his job but can somehow make a single packet of biscuits last for an entire week?!
I’d like to sincerely thank Matt for helping me turn my website design into a fully-functioning “beast” and thoroughly recommend him if you need your own site. Thank you Matt, I promise you’ll never hear me say “please refer to the wireframes” ever, ever again. (Please refer to the wireframes.)
Thanks also to social media whiz kid Jasmine Connolly for providing endless advice and tips, as well as general enthusiasm and excitement!
Finally, thanks also to everyone who’s put up with me going on about the new site for such a long time and shown real interest and support, it’s much appreciated…and finally here!
Let me know what you think
I’d love to hear what you think about the site or my photography, and you can leave a comment below or get in touch via social media.
You can also email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This isn’t an advert for Caffe Nero, I just spent a *lot* of time there, designing how my new website should look and function.
Ooh, and I took some photos of the process!
